Our Beliefs

We believe Jesus is at the center of everything. He is the Son of God, and the only one able to bring us back into relationship with the Father. He lived a sinless human life and died in our place on the cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death and ascended to heaven. We believe Jesus will return again as he promised.

We believe in one God who created and sustains all things. He has eternally existed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  These three are distinct, but co-equal and are one God.

We believe the Bible is God’s word. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth and is applicable to our everyday lives.

We believe humans were made in the image of God as His most prized creation. However, humanity became separated from God through sin. There is no way we can regain a right relationship with God by our own efforts.

Because Jesus died and rose from the dead, we can have a fresh start with God! Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can man be saved from sin’s penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ by faith. We believe this news is the greatest story we can tell.

We believe in the power of the Church and the importance of community. We believe in the necessity of believers regularly meeting together.

Jesus Christ is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth.
