"The Commission"

Peter has a deeply healing moment with his Lord and friend after his resurrection. Jesus forgives Peter, even after he had denied and forsaken him, and gives him this charge: "If you love me, feed and care for my sheep." Today, we are given the same commission: to go into the world and make more followers of Jesus.

When you follow someone on social media, you check in to see what they're up to and hear what they have to say about certain topics. For many of us, this is all "following Jesus" is, but this kind of follower isn't really a follower at all. True disciples of Jesus organize their entire lives around being with and becoming like their Rabbi.
